The Strut Data Collection System (SDCS) is the only commercially available onboard weight and balance measurement system that can automatically calculate an aircraft’s weight and center of gravity for each flight.
This innovative approach to weight and balance planning turns estimations into actuals that can maximize aircraft performance by optimizing load planning for more efficient flying leading to reduced drag during flight and decrease fuel burn.
Using advanced sensor technology and computing techniques new data sets are available for operators to create efficiencies and proactively identify potential maintenance issues. Reducing the amount of unscheduled maintenance keeps more aircraft in the sky rather than stuck at the gate.
